Psalm 5:3 states, "O יהוה, in the morning You hear my voice; I present myself to You in the morning, And I look up."
I may not speak for everyone, but I truly cherish that first moment when I can say, "Thank you, Abba, for today! Thank you for the breath to express my gratitude. Thank you for granting me this day, allowing me the choice to honor You in my life. I am grateful for You and for Your amazing gift of life and sacrifice."
Do you feel the same way?
As the first light of dawn breaks through my window, casting a warm glow across the room, I take a moment to acknowledge Him, the center of my universe. He is my everything, the unwavering presence that fills my heart and guides my steps. I cherish my family and those who surround me, their laughter and love brightening my days. Yet, I am aware that they, like all of us, are imperfect beings; each has stumbled and let me down in moments of weakness. I, too, have faltered and caused pain. In recognizing this reality, I choose to shift my reliance away from fleeting human frailty. Instead, I place my complete trust in Yahuah, whose steadfast love never wavers, anchoring me in times of uncertainty.
Titus 3:8 says, "Trustworthy is the word, and in this regard I wish you to strongly affirm, that those who have believed in Elohim should keep their minds on maintaining good works. This is good and profitable to men."
Also in the Scriptures, we read:
Hebrews 10:23, "Let us hold fast the confession of our expectation without yielding, for He who promised is trustworthy."
He who made the promises stands as a pillar of trustworthiness—unwavering and steadfast. Trustworthy. There’s a certain joy I feel when uttering that word in reference to Abba, as it encapsulates His essence perfectly. His faithfulness radiates like a warm light, illuminating even the darkest corners of doubt. When I reflect on His trustworthiness, the word "faithful" dances in my mind, echoing the profound reliability that defines His character.
Some mornings, my prayer takes the form of a short song, or perhaps "jingle" is a more fitting description. It’s something simple that expresses the desires of my heart to Yahuah. For instance, "In the morning when I rise..." and "You have given a banner to those who fear You..." With a little background piano music playing in my thoughts, you might be able to step into the quiet mornings I share with Yahuah.
I long to give Him my all, as He is my Bridegroom. I eagerly await His return, hoping to see Him face to face one day. The longing for His return is strong within me, but I am learning that patience in His timing is a strength that encourages me.
Hebrews goes on to say in 10:31-11:3, "But we are not of those who draw back to destruction, but of belief to the preservation of life. And belief is the substance of what is expected, the proof of what is not seen. For by this the elders obtained witness. By belief, we understand the ages were prepared by the word of Elohim, so that what is seen was not made of what is visible.
I firmly believe in the truth of my faith, supported by the visible attributes I observe daily in creation (refer to Romans 1 for further insights). My experiences encourage me to trust in the unseen—the promise of His return, His provision, and the assurance that He is who He claims to be.
Ultimately, He is faithful and true.
I asked a family member to design a mug that captures the essence of these beliefs. The design beautifully reflects my thoughts with simplicity and makes a bold statement about my Creator.
